My 2024 fall sessions kicked off with this session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, capturing the story of an extended family of five originally from Madrid, Spain. Seven years ago, the parents relocated to Dallas after receiving a job offer, initially planning to stay for just two years. However, life had other plans, and now, with the birth of their son three years ago, Dallas has truly become home.
This session was particularly special because the grandparents traveled all the way from Madrid to spend two months with their family. The mother booked the session to capture these precious moments with them, especially since the grandparents hadn’t had professional photos taken since their wedding over 40 years ago. Despite their initial hesitation, they were complete naturals in front of the camera—relaxed, affectionate, and wonderfully expressive of their enduring love for one another.
As a lifestyle family photographer in Dallas, TX, my goal is to capture genuine, loving moments as families interact with one another. I provide gentle guidance, but it's the way each family responds to my prompts that brings their unique personalities to life. Every family tells their own story, and those authentic moments are what I strive to preserve.
